Exposé featuring skin care routines from ordinary people like you and me.

Monique – QLD

  1. Skin care products currently used ?
Cleanser, Moisturiser, Eye cream, shower gel, body lotion.
  2. How often do you cleanse your face ?
    Daily.
  3. How often do you moisturise your face ?
    Daily.
  4. Most looked after body part is ?
Probably my face at the present time.
  5. Most neglected body part is ?
    Definitely my hands.
  6. Regular skin care routine ?
“My current skincare routine consists of using a cleanser in the shower followed by eye cream and moisturiser when I get out of the shower (morning and night). The products I am currently using are Face Wash, an Eye Cream which was a Christmas present, and tinted moistuiser in the morning, and in the evening either the Light Moisturiser or Face Cream (which I have used since they started making it). I also put some cream on my legs in the mornings or my skin seems to end up like crocodile skin!”
  7. When it comes to taking care of your skin, you are ?
    Complacent.
  8. What influences your skin care regime ?
“I was brought up to always look after my skin – this advice actually came from Dad as he had a French Grandmother who always insisted on a good skin routine no matter what. She also was a big believer in an afternoon nap with your legs raised up by cushions – I used to do this, but since having kids can  never seem to find the time! I also like to use natural products where possible, and I don’t think a skin care routine has to be complicated to be effective. At the present time I would like to spend more time looking after myself, but with 3 children and 2 businesses I just never find the time for anything apart from a quick splash dash in the mornings and at night.”
  9. One piece of beauty advice you would give is ?
“That you are never too young to start looking after your skin. Encourage your daughters (and sons) to not only use a sunscreen but a natural gentle moistuiser as well from a very young age.”
