What are your pimples telling you?

What are your pimples telling you?

Pimples forming on different areas of your face mean different things...

Where your breakouts occur tells you a lot about what might be affecting your skin.  Let’s look at the areas and causes/meanings, as well as solutions.

~ Pimples on your forehead:
a) You have oily hair and skin.
c) You’re getting hair product (spray, moose, wax) on your skin.

Solution:
You need to wash your hair more regularly and you need to cleanse your skin more regularly – I recommend every 2nd day at a minimum, and once daily to improve condition considerably.

~ Pimples on your T-zone:
a) You’re a teenager and your hormones are going berserk.
b) You’re hormones are still going berserk even though you’re no longer in your teens.

Solution:
You might need to consider cutting down on dairy (because it contains hormones that can cause/exacerbate pimples) and also start a good daily cleansing routine with products that contain anti blemish ingredients.

~ Pimples on temple, cheeks, nose:
a) You’re feeling stressed.
b) You’re touching your skin with dirty hands, mobile phone etc.
c) You’re wearing makeup to bed.

Solution:
Try not to touch your face at all.  Touching your face spreads bacteria across your skin.  Use ear plugs instead of holding your phone to your face and wash cleanse your skin before bed.

~ Pimples on your chin, jaw and neck:
a) Your period is due, you’re hormonal and suffering PMS.

Solution:
Cut back on caffeine and other things that stress you out.  Cut back on the chocolate and wine because your body will try to rid you of these substances (toxins) through your skin.  Consider taking evening primrose oil before and during your period to ease those hormones.

~ Other conditions that may cause breakouts:
a) Air conditioning and artificial heating.
b) Working in dirty, dusty conditions.
c) Certain foods your body will try to expel (greasy foods, rich foods, sugary foods).
d) Non-natural, miner oil, pore clogging products.
